i put it off as long as i could, but daley finally needed a haircut to the point where it was no longer a mullet, and started to resemble cousin it-lol! i was just happy that i had the opportunity to take her to the same place we took jack for his first cut. in typical daley fashion she didn't even flinch. she was more interested in "driving" the plane and eating her snack, which despite my attempt to take it away so there wasn't stray hair getting in it, remained with her for the duration.
on another note, she has become so personable as of late. i think she's auditioning for miss america the way she goes around waving to everyone! she is also a complete chatterbox, repeating just about everything you say to her. i love that i can ask her if she wants/needs something and she actually responds with yes (or yup in most cases!) or no. she is also now telling me when she has dirty pants, sometimes even beforehand, which is very efficient of her! i have no grandiose plans of potty training anytime soon, but it would be kinda funny if she was fully potty trained before jack (he'll wake up dry one of these days;).
daley also really likes to climb...on tables, the stairs, chairs, into things like cabinets and shelves. this is new territory for me as jack was not really a climber at all. she's bound and determined to keep me on my toes! further proof of said climbing can be seen below;
