where did my baby go?

i took these pictures this afternoon, and just looking at them makes me realize just how big she is getting:(





i guess i shouldn't be all that surprised, because along with her grown-up little face is a grown-up big attitude! seriously though, she is quite a piece of work these days. oh the drama, this is all new to me as jack never threw a tantrum of this caliber!

daley has officially given up her morning nap, and i have to admit i'm a bit sad with this change. not so much because our routine has to be re-adjusted, but because it is just another sign that daley is growing. unfortunately given her feisty demeanor, i have no choice but to go with this change as she will literally stand in the corner of her crib and yell/babble/whine until you finally go in and get her...and i tried to wait it out, but after an hour and two unsuccessful weeks, it is quite obvious she is so over her nap!

alas, i now have to figure out a way to fit in pilates and my shower with two kids in constant need of something!?

mmm...

i don't know what this is, but it will certainly get me to sit still for more than two seconds!?

daley is a little chatty cathy these days! she constantly points and asks what "that" is. of course, among her audible words is a whole lot of garble, but it is so cute.

on another note she thoroughly enjoyed finger painting today. i think i'll let the pictures speak for themselves!
