it's funny...

that is daley's newest line...she follows it up with a laugh, and it then really becomes funny! she is also becoming quite good at independent play. she is using her imagination, and pretending. she loves to "shh" her babies to sleep, pat them, take them for walks. so cute!

she is still quite willful and has a temper that i need to constantly remind her is unacceptable. when she is told no, she will often throw something or spit/blow bubbles at you-ugh, this is just so unladylike and gross. i have no idea where she gets this from, because jack is so mellow when it comes to reacting.

despite all of this, she really is such a sweet child...oh, wait she just did exactly what i was talking about above. ugh, she is going to send me over the edge!?

tea party...jackie comin?

that is all daley wants to know these days..."jackie comin?" or "where'd jackie go?" all of a sudden they've become best buds and it is so cute! things are far more peaceful when they get along and aren't grabbing things from each other.

daley has also become quite interested in pretend play. she played right along with us while we "drank" our tea and "ate" our crumpets! another development is her discovery of cause and effect. for instance if i tell her not to throw something, her response is "it will fall down?" so she's beginning to understand outcome to her actions a bit more. it is eye opening to me because she can vocalize things so well. i am amazed at her retention and understanding of things.

and further proof that she is growing leaps and bounds...
