first wedding!

as mentioned on jack's blog we attended my cousin's wedding this weekend. daley was really well behaved considering the ceremony started at 6:30 and she is typically on her way to bed at that time. she also managed to garner quite a few laughs during the ceremony when she cheered and shouted "yay" when the music ended during the procession--it was too cute and thankfully everyone else thought so as well!

that just about sums up daley while on vacation. she loved the beach. there wasn't much relaxing to be had as she was in and out of the water the entire time, but she had so much fun. she was not put off by the waves one bit. there was only one jellyfish incident where she decided to squish it and nearly gave me a heart attack!?

a little breakfast, the carousel, a balloon, the pool...that about sums up our day! daley had a lot of fun, and was so excited to finally get a balloon-she has been taunted by balloons lately as there seem to be a lot of balloons and parties going on! every time she sees one she gets all excited, and trying to explain to a toddler why they can't have it is not quite that easy.

on another note, she is learning her abc's...she's able to sing up until the letter "g" and it is so cute! it sort of overshadows her extremely strong-willed demeanor these days. one of her new responses when i call her name is "what?" really? already?! i'm definitely in trouble with her!
