nine months:)

yet another month has flown by. daley gets cuter and more curious by the day. she is quite determined these days, and gets around pretty quickly. she can be found underneath the kitchen table most of the time, showing off her newest trick, which is to climb over the wooden beam underneath. she's also recently discovered that she can pull up on just about anything, and she gives you the biggest smile when she accomplishes this feat! she pretty much thinks purees are for the birds or six month olds as she is far too old to be eating them!? i've had to get creative at mealtime and have learned that there isn't much that she won't eat! forget about getting dressed or diaper changes...its like a WWE smackdown, and i have to basically dress her one-handed while restraining her from rolling, sitting up, or crawling off of the changing table?! it is so amazing to me how different she is from jack, it makes watching her grow and develop all the more interesting.

happy nine months little one! i hope you always stay determined, curious, decisive and loving.

oh, and you can stop growing up now:)

jack insists on going in the activity garden with her...cute, but really doesn't leave them much room!?

after a morning of fun...

that is what i will call daley at the moment...she has discovered her ability to get into just about everything she's not supposed to! she loves wires, dvds, phones, and vacuums. what is it with little ones and their love for all things electronic!?

she also has quite the temper these days...she is so vocal and let's you know it if she doesn't want to be somewhere, wants you to hold her, or is done eating! actually she is so quick to swipe at the spoon that i've started to give her one just to occupy her and ward her off from grabbing the one with the food on it--i learned the hard way as i've worn far too many purees as of late!?

on another note, she can absolutely crawl on all fours, but insists on army crawling! again, she is quite decisive and if she doesn't feel like crawling the "right" way, then she's not going to. she has also started to clap...last night i was watching her on her monitor and she was just clapping away at her soother...it was so cute!

milestone:)

well, well, we will apparently be dropping the crib yet again since little miss has decided that she can pull-up! she thought she was the bees-knees up there in her crib rolling around, pulling up, yelling, and then pulling up some more. i really wish she would slow down her development a little bit, as she is growing way too fast.

on another note, we are slowly moving away from purees and onto softer table foods. she is loving waffles, pancakes, steamed veggies, fruits, even a little cereal bar. she does really well with it, and ever the lady only picks up one piece at a time with her pinky out!
