happy seven months!

daley,

at seven months you are so much fun! you're still a bit skeptical and like to give everything a good once over before you flash your gummy smile. that being said, you're a very happy and laid back girl. you're just content to sit and look around--taking it all in. you love to look at the trees/leaves. you've recently discovered the army crawl, and you're really fast! part of me still wonders if you may skip crawling altogether and go right to walking the way you get up on your hands and feet and stick your tush way up in the air! you love food now, especially your veggies. you're learning to chew little pieces of food and you're pretty good at it. finally, big brother jack still gets the biggest reaction out of you and it is usually a huge smile!

i love you so much and although i'm sad that seven months has passed, i look forward to all the months ahead:)

hilton head

we got back from our annual hilton head trip this past weekend. we spent 2 weeks down there with the kids and it was so much fun! i think jack is still drying out from all the swimming and daley is now officially a beach baby! she even has a slight tan on her legs, which is most noticeable when you open the creases of her leg rolls;)

while we were there her second tooth broke through and she mastered sitting up unassisted-she had been doing it for a while but was a bit wobbly. she also tried yogurt, watermelon, prunes (unfortunately there were one too many days of bananas;) and carrots.

6 months and her first tooth!

she is getting way too big, too fast! not only is she up on all fours and rocking, she's chattering, sitting up nicely, and she just got her first tooth! her tooth is so new, that it wasn't there at 4:30am this morning, but popped through around noon today!

i snapped some pictures of her yesterday while we had some "alone" time...its hard to get time with just one of them these days. she was giving me such great smiles, here are a couple of my favorites:
