smiles and coos...

this is probably the most fun part about her age--her smile when she sees you in the morning! she seems to be a very easy going baby thus far. when she wakes up she kind of just lays there, looks around and coos for a bit. its been so fun watching her develop, and it really is so true that no two children are alike!

one month stats

it has been brought to my attention (thanks greg!?), that daley might start to get a complex from my negligent blog posting...alas, i have been a bit lax. in my defense we're still adjusting to our new routine and searching for some sense of normalcy!

we had daley's one month yesterday, and to say she has grown a little would be an understatement! the little piggy is now 10 pounds exactly and 21 inches!! i cannot believe how big she has gotten. the dr. was also impressed with her leg strength--she can already plant her feet flat and stand, which is apparently a 2-3 month development. this doesn't surprise me because my ribs have yet to recover from her little legs constantly kicking me!?

daley is also starting to make eye contact and coo a bit at you...its pretty cute. her temperament is definitely more subdued than her older brother's was...she'll just wake up and look around in the bassinet, as opposed to jack who would wake up screaming immediately for food!
